Pappireddipatti Farmers Producer Companylimited

Our office is in Ammapalayam Village, specifically at 5/824. It’s under the Alapuram post in the Pappireddipatti area of Dharmapuri. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. This company was put together so the farmers in our village and the nearby ones could have a bit more say in how things are sold. It’s a lot of coordination. Usually, there’s a few of us sitting around the desk trying to sort out the accounts or planning the next pick-up. Dharmapuri is a tough place for farming sometimes because it gets so dry, but we make do with what we have. We aren't professional writers or marketing people, just folks who know how to grow things. People come to us from all over the taluk to see how they can join in. It’s a community thing more than a corporate thing. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Just a door and some chairs where we talk about the season. Sometimes we make mistakes with the filing, but we fix them and move on. It’s part of learning how to run a producer company. We care about our neighbors because we see them every day at the market or in the street. Our families have been in this village for generations. We just want to see the local farming do okay.
