Our office for Tevatia Chauhan & Sharma Architects Pvt. Ltd. is on the second floor of A-92 in Madangir Village. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi -62 and we’ve been here for some time now. Getting up to the second floor is part of the daily routine for all of us. Madangir Village has a specific kind of feel to it and we’ve grown quite accustomed to the pace of the street below. We keep our heads down and focus on the projects that come across our desks. There isn't a lot of fancy furniture or anything like that in the office. We just have what we need to get the drawings and the planning done. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside but that is just part of being in this area. We aren't a big corporate firm with a lobby and a receptionist. It is more about the work itself and making sure we don't miss any details. We usually have a lot of stuff spread out over the tables because we like to see everything at once. Most of the people here have been working together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how to get things moving. It’s just a regular workplace in Delhi where we try to stay busy and do right by the folks who hire us. Sometimes the tea runs out but we keep going.
