allied architecture

Out here in Teekli, near Gurgaon, things are a bit quieter than the main city. That is where we have our office for Allied Architecture. We spend our time working on building designs and trying to figure out the best way to use the land around here. Haryana is changing fast and we are right in the middle of it. It's not a fancy glass office like you see in the city center, but it works for us. We handle a lot of the basic planning that goes into making a structure stand up and look alright. Sometimes the weather gets really dusty or hot, but we keep the fans going and get through the work. People come to us when they need help with their houses or maybe a small commercial spot. We don't have a big corporate setup. It's just a few of us who know how to draw plans and understand the local rules. Being in Teekli gives us a different perspective than the big firms in the malls. We see how the local area is developing every day. If you happen to be driving through this part of Gurgaon, you might see us. We're just regular people doing our job with bricks and mortar designs. It's practical work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make drawings so builders know what to do next. It is just about getting the lines right on the paper.
