We’re tucked away in K Block over in New Delhi. Fab interiors & architecture consultants has been around for a bit, and our office is usually a hive of activity. Between the interior design work and the architectural consulting, there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve got samples of tiles, wood, and fabric scattered all over the place. It’s a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We don’t try to act like some high-end firm from a magazine. We’re just regular people who know how to put a room together and make sure a building is structurally sound. Most of our days are spent talking to vendors, checking on site progress, and trying to make sure the client's budget doesn't fly out the window. It’s a tough balance sometimes. Delhi can be a difficult place to build in, with all the rules and the sheer number of people, but we’ve learned how to manage. We aren't into fancy presentations with lots of fluff. We prefer to show people what we’re thinking with a simple sketch or a mood board. If the client likes it, we move forward. If not, we fix it. It’s a straightforward way to work. We’ve had our share of long nights and stressful deadlines, but that’s just the nature of this business. We just keep doing our thing from our spot in K Block, focusing on the next set of drawings and making things work.
