Sri Ram Traders

We set up shop at A 2/200 in the Kondli area. It is a fairly straightforward place where we handle various types of trading goods. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there is always something going on outside our door. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and inventory, leaving just a little room for a small desk where we handle the accounts. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the counts are right. It is not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. Sometimes the delivery boys get lost looking for this specific block, so we spend a fair amount of time giving directions over the phone. We have been here for a few years and the building has seen better days, but it serves our purpose well enough. We do not really have a showroom or anything like that because most of our business happens through regular contacts. People just know we are in the Kondli block and they come by when they need to pick something up. The tea stall next door is where we spend our breaks. We are not a big corporation, just a few of us making sure the orders go out on time. It is a lot of manual work and keeping track of things, but that is just the way we like to run it. We just keep things moving.
