A-1 Readymix Concrete

A-1 Readymix Concrete is out on Khasra No-36C along NH 91 in Chappraula. We are right near the Shri Ram Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark because the highway can get confusing with all the different turns. Our yard is big and open because we need the space for the trucks and the piles of sand and stone. It is a very dusty environment and everything we own seems to have a thin layer of grey on it. When the wind picks up, it blows right across the site. We have a small cabin where we handle the orders and the logs. The trucks are constantly coming and going, especially early in the morning when the big jobs start. It is hard work and the hours are often long depending on when the concrete needs to be poured. We sit out there in the heat and wait for the next load to be ready. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the noise of the machinery. The ground is uneven and muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a mess to walk around. We do not have any fancy furniture in the office, just the basics to get the job done. It is a tough business but it keeps us busy every single day out here by the road. We just keep the wheels turning and watch the traffic go by.
