Our shop is right in the middle of all the noise at Sani Bazar, within the Kaushik Market area. We are at house number five on the Johri Pur Bazar street. If you have ever walked through this market, you know exactly how crowded it gets, especially when the weekend rolls around. The street is constantly full of people, cycle rickshaws, and temporary stalls. We have a small storefront where we keep the bulk of our things. It is a very tight squeeze once you get inside, especially when we have a lot of new inventory coming in all at once. We spend a good chunk of our time just shifting boxes around so we can find a clear place to sit down. The noise from the market outside never really stops until very late in the evening. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting and the constant honking of horns from the main road. It is a lively place to work. We do not have much in the way of decoration, just some basic wooden shelves and a dusty old counter where we handle our business. Sometimes we get people who have been shopping in this market for twenty years, and they like to stand around and chat for a while. We don't have a website or any fancy systems; we just handle things as they come through the door. The concrete floor is a bit uneven, but it works fine.
