M/S Vishwakarma Enterprises is tucked away in Tughlakabad Village in New Delhi. If you know the village, you know how narrow the lanes can get and how much movement there is all the time. Our workspace is right in the middle of all that hustle. We deal with a lot of practical things here and the air is usually filled with the sounds of work being done. It’s not a quiet office with carpets. It’s a place where we get our hands a bit dirty and focus on the orders we have. People from around the neighborhood drop in quite often just to check on things or ask a question. We don't have a big fancy sign or a reception desk with someone in a suit. It’s just us, usually in our everyday clothes, making sure the work is finished. The traffic in Tughlakabad is something we have to deal with every day when we are trying to move stuff in or out. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or use the backup. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people on the street. It’s a tight-knit spot and we just try to keep up with the daily demands of the business without making too much of a fuss. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again early the next day.
