Shree Ram Building Material Slayer

Located right on Narela Road, we spend most of our time dealing with the dust and the heavy noise of trucks coming in. It’s a busy spot and the yard usually has piles of sand and bricks waiting to be moved. The gate stays open early in the morning because the drivers like to beat the main traffic. Most days the office is just a place to sit for a minute and have some tea while looking at the delivery notes. It isn't fancy here, just a lot of grey concrete and the smell of diesel. Sometimes the phone rings and it’s just someone asking if we have enough cement left for a small wall. We usually do, but it depends on the day. The guys working in the yard are mostly local and they know the area well. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the neighbors know the sound of our loader by heart. There is always a layer of fine dust on the desk, no matter how much we wipe it down. Rain makes the ground a bit of a mess, so we wear old boots that have seen better days. It is just a regular place where building materials get moved around from one pile to another until someone needs them. Nothing much changes from week to week except maybe the price of the bags. We keep things going as best as we can despite the heat and the wind.
