Shree Ganga Cement Pvt. Ltd

Our place is located out in Village Kaloohera, right near the Narnoul Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Kotputli. At Shree Ganga Cement Pvt. Ltd, we spend our days dealing with bags of cement and the trucks that come in and out of the yard. The village life is quiet, but the plant is usually loud. We’ve got a lot of people from around the area working here. It gets very dusty, which is just part of the job when you work with cement all day. We started this because there was a need for it in this part of Rajasthan. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the papers in order and have a cup of tea. We spend more time outside near the loading docks anyway. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the heat gets too intense in the summer months. We just keep our heads down and get the bags loaded onto the transport. It’s a simple operation really, nothing corporate about it. Most of us have been working here since the beginning. We know the roads around Paniyala like the back of our hands. It's a lot of physical labor, moving stuff around and making sure the machinery stays running. We don't do much advertising; people just know where we are. That's how it works here in the village.
