You can find Shiv Building Material over on Main Kushak No.2 Road in Swaroop Nagar. Our place is at No.J-53, and it is pretty much what you would expect from a building material yard. It is mostly an open space with stacks of bricks, bags of cement, and piles of sand. It is a very hands-on kind of business, so we are usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of the day. The road outside is busy with tractors and big trucks moving materials around the neighborhood. Swaroop Nagar is always growing, so there is always someone building something nearby. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning; it is more of a practical setup for people who are actually doing the construction work. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard, checking the loads and making sure everything is where it should be. The weather really dictates our day. If it rains, things slow down a lot, but on sunny days, we are going from morning until late. We do not really bother with corporate stuff or polished presentations. We just talk to the contractors and the homeowners who need supplies for their projects. It is hard physical work, but it keeps us busy.
