You can find our shop at Shop No.4 in the 21St Century Plaza over in Sector-8, Rohini. We are right near the petrol pump, which makes it easy for people to explain where we are to their friends. The shop is a bit small, and we have books crammed into every possible corner. We even have some stacks on the floor because the shelves are all full. It’s a local spot where parents come to get school books for their kids or students look for their guides. We’ve been in this plaza for quite some time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a friendly enough place. During the start of the school year, it gets incredibly busy and we barely have room to stand inside the shop. We have to keep a ladder handy just to reach the stuff near the ceiling. Sometimes we get the wrong order delivered, or a book comes with a torn cover, and we have to sort that out with the suppliers. It’s not a high-end bookstore with couches and coffee; it’s a place where you come to find what you need and then head home. We keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze there is, though it mostly just brings in the noise from the petrol pump and the cars. It’s a simple life, running the depot and talking to the regulars.
