Researchco Book Centre

Researchco Book Centre is over here on Shyam Lal Road in Daryaganj. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how it gets on the weekends with all the traffic and people walking around looking for things to read. We are right by Hindi Park, at number 81. It is a busy spot but we like it here because there is always something going on outside the door. The shop itself is filled with books, mostly stacked up wherever they fit. Sometimes it takes a minute to find what someone is looking for because we have so much gathered over the years. We spend a lot of our day just moving boxes or dusting off the top shelves. It is not a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Just a lot of paper and the smell of old ink. Most people who come in are locals or students who have been told to check this side of Daryaganj. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles just grow on their own. It is just a regular shop where we do our work and talk to the people who stop by. We have been in this building for quite a bit now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we are usually too busy with the inventory to worry about that. It is a quiet life inside even if the street outside is loud.
