MS Shiv Kod

MS Shiv Kod is located right in the middle of Jahangirpuri Market at Jahangir Puri A 78. Being in a market like this means there is never a dull moment. You can hear the sounds of other vendors and people haggling all day long. Our shop is where we handle various communication needs and some other small bits. The space at A 78 is small but we make it work by stacking things up high. I’ve been here for quite some time now and I’ve seen the market change a lot. We open up early to beat the heat in the summer. The shutters are a bit heavy and they squeak every time I lift them. I really should oil them soon. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a glass counter where we show the items we have. We don't go for anything flashy. It’s more about being practical. People come in to pay bills or ask for advice on which SIM card works best in this part of town. We give them a straight answer. Sometimes we get stuck with a difficult repair and it takes all afternoon. That’s just part of the job. It’s a humble spot but it’s ours and we take care of it as best as we can. Every evening we lock up and head home through the busy streets.
