Our office is on the first floor, number 64, in Vinobha Puri. If you know Lajpat Nagar-IV in New Delhi, you know how it gets around here. It is always moving, always noisy, and there is always something happening right outside the window. We’ve been operating as Modern India Architec Pvt. Ltd. from this spot for a while. It’s a decent space, though it gets a bit cramped when we have all our rolls of blueprints spread out on the main table. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and formal meetings. Most days, it’s just us in casual clothes, drinking too much coffee and staring at CAD files. Being in Delhi means we deal with a lot of different types of buildings. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying big model boards up can be a bit of a pain. We’ve got a couple of desks shoved into the corners and the walls are mostly covered in old project photos and sketches. It feels like a real workspace, not a showroom. We get people coming in from all over the city, but we mostly feel like a local Lajpat Nagar business. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy brochures. We just show people what we're working on at the moment. It’s a lot of long hours, but that’s just how the architecture business is in a place like this.
