Mamodia Cement Depot is right in the middle of Dariba Kulan in Chandni Chowk. Our address is Plot No. A/536. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded and busy it gets every single day. There’s always a lot of shouting and moving around, and we are right in the thick of it. We store and sell cement to whoever needs it for their building projects. It's a tight space because that's just how things are in this part of the city. We have to be very careful about how we stack the bags so we can fit everything in. It gets very dusty, especially when we’re moving stock in and out. The lanes are narrow, so getting deliveries can be a bit of a headache sometimes. But we’ve been here long enough to know the tricks of the trade. My father started this depot years ago, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. We aren’t looking to change much. People know they can find us here if they need a few bags or a whole load. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just talk to the people who walk in or call us. It’s an honest way to earn a living. The tea stall nearby keeps us going through the afternoon. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. Being in Chandni Chowk is a unique experience every day, even after all these years.
