Bharat Tiles Machinery

Our workshop is at C-1 in Madanpur Khadar, right near the famous Samosa Chowk. If you get lost, just ask someone where the machine guys are. We spend our days around heavy metal parts and grease. We make and fix the machines that people use to press tiles. It’s a messy job, and our clothes usually have oil stains by lunchtime. The area around Samosa Chowk is always buzzing with people, which is great for when we need a quick snack or a tea. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the spare parts. There’s a lot of welding and grinding noise coming from our place most of the day. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just me and a few guys who know their way around an engine and a hydraulic press. People bring us their broken equipment, or they ask us to put together a new setup for their tile factory. We’ve seen all kinds of problems over the years and usually find a way to patch things up. We don't promise anything fancy, just that the machine will work when it leaves our floor. It’s hard work on the hands, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know we are right here by the chowk. We usually keep the shutters halfway down in the heat of the afternoon to stay a bit cooler.
