We are based at T 81 on the second floor in Om Vihar, which is in the Uttam Nagar area of Delhi. If you know this part of Delhi, you know Uttam Nagar is very crowded and the streets are narrow. Lafarge India Pvt Ltd is right in the middle of all that buzz. We work on the concrete and construction side of things here. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always full of rickshaws, vendors, and people moving about. It is a noisy place but it has a lot of energy that keeps us moving. We don't have a flashy reception area or anything fancy like that. It is just a plain office with people working on computers and talking on their phones all day. We try to keep things simple and practical here. The commute can be a bit of a headache because the metro station is nearby and there are always so many people on the stairs. Most of us bring lunch from home and eat together at our desks while we talk about the news. We have been operating from this Om Vihar location for some time now. It is a good spot for us because it is close to where a lot of the local building activity happens. We just focus on getting our daily lists done and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. It is a typical small office environment where everyone helps out when things get busy during the season.
