Kirpa Ram Sethi & Sons

Kirpa Ram Sethi & Sons has been at 89 Chawri Bazar for a very long time. This is an old part of the city, and our shop reflects that. The building is old, the wooden shelves are heavy, and we have items stacked almost to the ceiling. We don't have a modern showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a space that is packed with history and goods. Most of what we do involves traditional trade that has been going on in Chawri Bazar for generations. When you walk in, you'll see us sitting behind a large wooden desk, probably surrounded by ledgers and notebooks. We don't use much fancy technology for our record-keeping; we prefer the old ways that have worked for us. The street outside is always noisy with carts and people, but inside we just focus on the customer standing in front of us. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll often see a few of us here talking or sorting through inventory. We don't have a marketing department or a social media page. If you need something from us, you just come down to number 89. We know our stock well and can usually find what you need even if it’s buried under a few other boxes. It’s a bit dusty and crowded, but that’s just how Chawri Bazar is. We are proud to be part of this old market.
