Jaiprakash Associates Ltd Cement Division

Our branch is over in Saket at C-6 Golfview Apartments. It’s a DDA complex and we are right near Gyanbharti School. This specific office focuses on the cement division of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. It is a bit of a busy corner because of the school and the residents nearby. You can hear the kids playing during recess while we are trying to sort out orders and shipments. The office itself is just an apartment that we turned into a workspace. It’s got that lived-in feel, which makes it less stressful than a tall office tower. We have files stacked up in the corners and charts on the walls to keep track of the cement supply. It’s not a polished corporate showroom. It’s where the actual planning happens. We spend our time on the phone with suppliers and sites across the city. Being in Saket is convenient because it is easy to get to from different parts of Delhi. We have a small kitchen area where we take turns making tea for everyone. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture. We just want to make sure the trucks are moving and the numbers add up at the end of the month. It’s a busy, sometimes loud, but very productive little office in a nice part of town.
