This office is located at B-82 in Anand Vihar, which is a pretty crowded part of Delhi if you’ve ever been here. We’re tucked away in the neighborhood, and it’s a lot different from the main roads. J K Lakshmi Cement Ltd. has had this spot for some time. It's not a huge place, just a standard office where we handle the day-to-day paperwork and talk to customers. Being in Delhi, there’s always noise from the traffic and the metro isn't too far off, which helps some of the staff get to work. The building itself is older, but it does the job. We have stacks of registers and computers that are always running. We spend a lot of time on the phone here. It’s usually busy, especially in the mornings when the orders start coming in. The chai here is actually pretty good, there’s a small shop nearby that brings it over in those little glass cups. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re mostly just focused on the task at hand. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors, but we make it work. Most of the people working here live in the nearby colonies, so we all know the area well. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to keep things moving in the middle of a very busy city. Even when it is raining, we stay busy.
