Ishwar Anand & Sons

Our place is at Plot No. 2895 in Sirkiwalan, which is right in the heart of Hauz Qazi. If you know where the cinema hall is, then you know exactly where we are because we’re right opposite it. Ishwar Anand & Sons has been part of this street for many years. It's a crowded area, full of noise and people moving about, but that’s just how Hauz Qazi is. The shop is usually full of stuff, and it might look a bit messy to some, but we know where everything is kept. We deal with all sorts of people every day. Some are old customers who have been coming to us since the beginning, and others are just passing through the market. The old building has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a bit of paint. We work hard from morning until evening. It gets very busy when there is a new show at the cinema across the street. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a family thing, passed down, and we take it one day at a time. The air is always thick with the smells of the market and the sounds of horns honking. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we stand every day. It’s a tough environment but it’s home to us and we wouldn’t be anywhere else.
