Inder Narian Sons

Down in Khari Baoli, at Shop No 6115 in Gali Batashan, is where Inder Narian Sons is located. If you know this area, you know it's the heart of the old market. Our shop is surrounded by the smell of spices and the sound of laborers carrying heavy sacks. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the shop shows its age in a way that we don't mind. The wooden shelves are stacked high, and sometimes it's hard to find things if you don't know exactly where to look. We don't have a modern showroom or anything polished like that. It’s just a traditional trading space. We spend our days talking to suppliers and customers who have been coming to us for decades. The street outside is always jammed with people, so getting in and out can be a bit of a struggle. We don't really bother with marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. People find us because they know the address or they were told by someone else. It's a busy life here in Gali Batashan. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the next delivery to arrive. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s a living. We just keep the records in our ledgers and keep the shop going day after day.
