You can find us at G-25 in Krishna Nagar. We’re Dalmia Cement, and this is where we do all our business. Delhi is a crowded place, and Krishna Nagar is no different, so things can get a bit loud outside our door. We’ve got a small space here, but it’s enough for what we need. We spend most of our time answering questions from neighbors who are fixing up their homes or starting something new. It’s not a flashy operation. We have our files, a phone that rings more than it should, and a couple of chairs for whoever stops by. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we know most of the people on this street. The work is steady. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy titles. I just handle the orders and my colleague looks after the logistics. Sometimes it feels like there’s never enough time in the day, especially when the orders pile up. We try to be as helpful as we can without making things complicated. It’s just about getting the cement to where it needs to go. There’s a lot of dust because of the nature of the product, but we’re used to it by now. We just stay focused on the task at hand and try to keep things running smoothly. This is just our local branch where we do our bit for the community and help the builders around here.
