We operate out of New Roshan Pura in Najafgarh. The address is Rz-E-184 and it is a pretty straightforward place. Being in New Delhi-43 means we see all sorts of building styles and a lot of different kinds of people. Our day starts early with a lot of phone calls to suppliers and workers. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that, so we just answer the phones ourselves. It is a bit noisy sometimes because of the traffic and the construction sounds nearby. We do a lot of work on residential houses because that is what people in Najafgarh mostly need. We sit with our drawing boards and try to make the most of the space people have. Land is tight in Delhi so every inch matters. We aren't really the type to wear suits or give big presentations. We usually just have a cup of tea and look at the blueprints together. Sometimes there are mistakes in the old records of the land which makes things hard for us. But we just keep working through it. It’s a lot of back and forth with the local authorities too. That part isn't fun but it has to be done. We just want to make sure the buildings stay up and look decent for the families living in them. It's honest work and we have been at it for years in this same spot.
