Anant Traders

Anant Traders is based at Shop No.3242/1 in the Baba Brijnath Market. We are located in Peepal Mahadev, right in the heart of Hauz Qazi. If you’ve ever been to this part of Old Delhi, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can be. It’s a constant rush of people, carts, and rickshaws moving through the market. Our shop is quite small, but we pack a lot of stock into the shelves. It’s often a bit of a squeeze when we have more than two customers inside at once. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it serves us well. Most of our day is spent climbing ladders to reach boxes or talking to the delivery guys who manage to navigate the tight streets. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done with paper and pens in our ledgers. The air in Hauz Qazi is always thick with the smell of metal and old buildings. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights to attract people. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where we are, tucked away in the market. It’s a noisy, busy way to spend the day, but we are used to the pace of the market. We just keep the shop open and sell what we have.
