Ambuja Cement Ltd

We are located near R. K. Talreja College in Ulhasnagar, which is part of the Thane district. Our specific spot is associated with the 2nd Class Chemistry area, which sounds a bit strange if you are not from around here. It is a busy, cramped part of the town. There are students everywhere, and the noise from the college is a constant backdrop to our work at Ambuja Cement Limited. The streets in Ulhasnagar are famous for being crowded, so getting anything delivered is always an adventure. We have to time everything perfectly or the trucks just get stuck in the narrow lanes for hours. Our workspace is small and functional. We have about 50 percent of the space dedicated to storage and the rest for our small office. It is not the kind of place you would see in a magazine. The walls are plain, and the furniture is old and functional. We spend our days answering the phone and dealing with the local builders who come by. Because we are so close to the college, we see a lot of young people passing by every day. It gives the place a bit of energy. We focus on the daily tasks, like checking the inventory and keeping the records straight. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we have got a good rhythm going. We are not looking to impress anyone; we just do our jobs and then go home when we are finished.
