Our spot is at A-291 in the P T S Colony over in Malviya Nagar. Most people just call us Allied Architects Pvt. Ltd, DELHI, but to the folks around here, we’re just the people in the corner office. Delhi-17 is a busy place, and being in Malviya Nagar means there is always something happening. Our office is a bit cluttered with old files and rolls of blue prints from projects we finished years ago. We never seem to throw anything away. It’s a local operation, nothing like those glass buildings you see in Gurgaon. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that squeak a bit, but they do the job. We spend our mornings checking emails and the rest of the day usually involves arguing over where a wall should go. It’s not always pretty, but we get it done. The tea guy comes by at eleven, and that’s usually the highlight of our morning. We’ve been in this colony for a long time now. We know which roads get flooded when it rains and which ones are shortcuts. We don't try to impress anyone with big talk. If you need a drawing, we do it. If you have a question about a permit, we try to help. It’s just a group of us trying to make a living by helping people build their houses. It’s honest work and we like the community here in this part of the city.
