Acc Concrete Ltd.

We operate Acc Concrete Ltd. out of Rz-144 in the X-Block of New Roshan Pura, which is over in the Najafgarh area of New Delhi. It is a crowded spot, like most of Delhi is these days. Working here means you have to get used to the noise and the narrow streets. Our yard is where we handle all the concrete mixing and storage. It is not a glamorous place. You will see piles of grit and sand everywhere and the white dust from the cement usually covers everything by lunchtime. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area. Usually, if someone wants to talk to us, they just walk into the yard and find whoever is not busy with a shovel or a truck. It gets extremely hot in the summer, which makes the concrete set faster than we sometimes want. You have to be quick. We have a few guys who have been here since we started. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do our bit and keep the business running. Some days the traffic in Delhi is so bad that deliveries take twice as long as they should. It is frustrating but we just deal with it. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It is just concrete. We mix it, we load it, and we send it off to whoever needs it. It is not fancy, but it keeps us busy.
