Traveloi Holidays

Traveloi Holidays is tucked away at 382 D in Santoshi Maa Gali. It is right in Dehradun City, but being in a gali means it is a bit hidden away from the main noise. Sometimes people call us because they are standing at the end of the street and can't find the door. We have to go out and wave them in. It's a small office, nothing too fancy. We have a couple of desks and some old chairs that we probably should have replaced a few years ago. We spend our days planning trips for people. It is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with hotels and transport guys. Some days are really quiet and we just sit around talking about the news or the weather. Other days, it feels like everyone in Dehradun wants to go on a trip at the same time. We don't have any big mission statements or anything. We just want to make sure people get their tickets and their hotels are actually there when they arrive. It’s practical work. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to print a voucher until the last minute, but we always get it sorted in the end. It's just a few of us working together in this little corner of the city. We enjoy the work, even when it gets a bit stressful during the summer rush when the whole city seems to be on vacation.
