Easy Travels

We’ve been running Easy Travels out of 74/2 Araghar in Dehradun for quite some time now. It’s a small office, nothing too special to look at, but it gets the job done for us and the people who come in. Most of our day is spent looking at different routes and trying to piece together trips that make sense. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know our way around the local bus and train schedules. Araghar is a central enough spot, so we get a lot of neighbors dropping by to ask about ticket prices or just to see if a certain hotel is okay. We have a couple of desks that have seen better days and a printer that makes a weird grinding noise every time it starts up. We don't bother with fancy brochures much because things change so fast anyway. It’s mostly just us on the computer or the phone, trying to sort out bookings so people don't have to deal with the headache themselves. Sometimes a booking gets stuck in the system, and we have to spend an hour on hold, which is the boring part of the job. We try to be helpful and honest about what’s available. We aren't trying to sell you a dream, just a ticket to where you need to go. It’s a regular local business, and we like it that way.
