Our office is located right on the Shimla Bypass in Dehradun. It’s a great spot because we see everyone coming and going from the hills. Uttaranchal Tourism has been operating from here, helping people figure out where they want to go next. We aren't a big travel agency with glossy brochures for every single country. We mostly focus on the roads and places we know around here. The office is usually cluttered with maps and scribbled notes about bus timings or hotel availability. It gets busy during the tourist season, and the phone doesn't stop ringing. We just try to give people the right information so they don't get stuck somewhere. Dehradun is a busy place, and being on the bypass means we deal with a lot of traffic noise, but it’s part of the job. We enjoy talking to travelers and hearing their stories. It’s a simple setup—just a few desks, some chairs for people to wait, and a lot of local knowledge. We don’t try to sell people things they don’t need. We just tell them what the roads are like and which places are worth seeing. It’s an honest way to work, and we’ve been doing it this way for years. People seem to appreciate that we don't sugarcoat the travel conditions or the time it takes to get somewhere.
