You can find us at 14 Old Survey Road. Asian Holidays Adventure Trips is basically just a few of us who like getting out of the city. We’ve got maps spread out all over the tables and a lot of old gear sitting in the corners. It’s not a shiny travel agency like you see in the malls. We mostly sit around figuring out routes and making sure the vehicles are in decent shape for the next trip. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes forever to book things, which is frustrating. We focus on adventure stuff, so we’re often talking about mountain roads or places where the cell signal is weak. People come in to ask about distances and what kind of shoes they should pack. We try to tell them the truth—sometimes it rains, sometimes the bus is late, and sometimes the hotel isn't exactly what was promised. It’s all part of traveling. The office has a lot of photos pinned to the walls from trips we took years ago. It’s a bit cluttered with guidebooks and half-empty thermoses. Old Survey Road is a quiet enough spot for us to get work done without too much distraction. We don't have a big marketing team; it’s just us answering the phone and trying to explain why a certain trek is harder than it looks on paper. We like what we do, even when the logistics get messy and the plans change at the last minute.
