Sudhanshugupta

My name is Sudhanshu Gupta and I run things from Savitri Niwas here in Haridwar. Being near Niranjani Akhara means it’s always busy around here, especially during the festivals. My family has been at house number 465 for a long time. This isn’t a corporate setup with glass walls. It’s a real house where we do our work every day. Sometimes the bells from the temples are so loud we have to pause our calls, but that is just part of living in Haridwar. We started this because I wanted to stay close to home and still make a living. It’s not always easy keeping things organized when there are so many people moving through the streets outside, but we manage. I have a few locals who help me out when things get busy. We don’t use those complicated business words you hear on TV. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because often they are. The office is really just a couple of rooms converted to fit our needs. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but we keep it going. I handle most of the paperwork myself while the others do the heavy lifting. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. Just keeping Savitri Niwas running and doing honest work is enough for us. It feels right to work where you live and be part of the community.
