Star Fast Food Corner

Our little spot, Star Fast Food Corner, sits on New Cantt Road in Dehradun. If you know where the Post Office is in Hathibarkala Salwala, then you have probably seen us nearby. It's a decent area to work in. Dehradun has that nice weather sometimes, though the winters get a bit chilly inside the shop. We deal with all sorts of people coming in and out every day. Being near the post office means there’s a lot of foot traffic and people always in a hurry. We don't have any big corporate backing or a marketing team. It’s just us. We make the food, serve the people, and try to keep the counters clean. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the local market was short that morning. That's just how it goes when you're a small business. We like the rhythm of New Cantt Road. The 248001 zip code is home to many families and office workers who stop by for a quick bite. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It's a simple setup with a few tables and the smell of the stove always in the air. We put in long hours here. From the early morning prep work to the late evening cleanup, there isn't much downtime. It's tiring but it keeps us busy. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just a plain, honest life here in Dehradun.
