You can find us at number 30 on Sadanand Marg, right on the Dehradun Road in Rishikesh. It is a pretty well-known spot because of all the people traveling through on their way to the mountains or down to the river. We are just a local team working here at this Mcdonalds location. It gets really busy during the tourist season, and the kitchen can get quite hot and loud when we have a lot of orders. We are not here to give you a corporate speech about global brands or anything like that. For us, it is just about getting the orders right and making sure the floor stays clean. We have many locals working here and some folks who moved to Rishikesh specifically for this work. The morning shift usually starts very early when the air is still a bit cool. By the afternoon, the traffic on Dehradun Road is buzzing and we are moving fast to keep up with the crowd. We do not use fancy language or try to be something we are not. We just serve food and try to be friendly to everyone who walks in, whether they are our neighbors or tourists just passing through for the day. It involves a lot of standing on our feet and making sure the supplies are always stocked up. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the mountain roads, but we manage somehow.
