If you are looking for Satyendra Kumar’s office, you have to head over to Ram Nagar in Roorkee. We are located at house number 402 on Ashok Marg. It is a bit of a residential area, so it feels a lot calmer than the commercial hubs in the city. The office is basically a room set up with some sturdy wooden tables and a few metal cupboards for storing records. I have been working out of this space for quite some time, and it has become a very familiar environment. The neighbors are mostly families, so you hear children playing or people heading to the market while we are working inside. Ashok Marg is a decent road, and most people find the place easily enough once they get into the Ram Nagar locality. I spend many hours here sitting at my desk, writing things down and checking over documents that people bring in. It’s not a corporate setup with a receptionist or anything like that. When someone comes by, they usually just knock on the door and walk in. We might share a cup of tea if there is time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered with calendars and notes anyway. It’s a practical workspace where the focus is just on finishing the work at hand and making sure everything is filed away correctly at the end of the day.
