Salt & Cravings

Our business is located inside the Hotel President building on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. The address is 06, Astley Hall, which is a spot most people in this part of town know pretty well. We go by the name Salt & Cravings. It isn’t a massive place, just a kitchen and some seating for whoever drops by. Being in the 248001 zip code means we see a lot of different folks, from hotel guests to people just walking along Rajpur Road. We keep the place running every day. It’s a lot of work, honestly. Some mornings are slow and we just sit around drinking tea until the first orders come in. Other times, the lunch rush hits and it gets pretty loud in the kitchen. We don't do any big advertisements or fancy social media stuff. Most people find us because they are staying at the hotel or just happened to be near Astley Hall. The furniture is nothing special, just basic tables and chairs that do the job. We try to keep things clean and the food ready on time. It’s just a regular local eatery. We’ve been here for a while now and the staff is mostly local people from around Dehradun. We just show up, do the cooking, and go home. There isn’t much more to the story than that. It’s a practical place for a meal when you are in this part of the city.
