River & Rocks Holidays

River & Rocks Holidays is located right by Kailash Gate in Rishikesh, which is quite easy to find because we are so close to the Union Bank and the Police Chowki. We spend most of our time here planning out trips for people who want to see the river or go up into the mountains. It is a busy little corner of town and there is always something going on outside our door. We started this because we know the area well and figured we could help people get around without making things complicated. We have some basic gear and we know the local spots that aren't too crowded, though everywhere gets busy during the peak season. It’s just a small office with a couple of desks and some maps on the wall. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us answering the phone and talking to people who walk in off the street. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. We try to be helpful and give people the right information about the weather and the roads. It isn’t always perfect, but we do what we can to make sure the trips happen as planned. Most people just want to get outdoors and we help them do that without charging a fortune for it.
