Rishikesh Properties & Travels is located on Tilak Road. It is managed by the proprietor who is usually around if you need to talk about anything related to houses or getting a ride out of town. Tilak Road is one of those streets that feels more like a local neighborhood than the touristy parts of Rishikesh. It’s got a different energy. We deal with property stuff and travel arrangements all at once. It might seem like an odd mix to some people, but it works for us. One minute someone is asking about renting a small flat and the next minute another person wants a car to take them to the airport. The office is pretty basic. We have some files, a few chairs, and a phone that rings more often than you would expect. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a practical business. We try to keep the paperwork simple because nobody likes waiting around in an office for hours. The weather can get really hot on Tilak Road in the summer, so we usually have the fan going full speed. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation here. We handle what comes our way and try to be helpful without making a big fuss about it. Tilak Road can be busy, but it is our home and we like the people here. It is just a normal life.
