Our office for Reliance Tour And Travel is at 52/4 Dilaram Bazaar, right on Rajpur Road. If you have ever been to Dehradun, you know how busy Rajpur Road gets during the day. We have been sitting in this spot for quite a bit now. It is a small place, really. Just enough room for a desk, some chairs, and a map on the wall that is starting to peel at the corners. We spend a lot of time talking to people who want to head up to Mussoorie or maybe go further into the mountains. It's not a corporate setup at all. Usually, there is a cup of tea sitting on the table and we are just chatting with whoever walks in. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit on the phone. We manage a small fleet of vehicles. Keeping them clean is a never-ending job because of all the dust in the bazaar area. We don't have any fancy booking systems, just a big ledger where we write everything down by hand. It works for us and we haven't lost a booking yet, though I did spill coffee on a page once. It is just a local business run by people who know the roads around here like the back of our hands. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the cars moving without too much trouble.
