Quality Food

Our place is on Chungi Road in Rajpur. If you find the Bank of Baroda, you’ve pretty much found us. We’re just a short walk from there. Quality Food is what we call the business, but to us, it’s just where we spend our days. It’s a ground-floor space with big windows that look out onto the street. We get a lot of light in the mornings which is nice. The kitchen area takes up most of the back, and the front is where we keep the supplies. It smells like spices and grain most of the time. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a few of us prepping and packing things. The floors are concrete and easy to wash down at the end of the shift. Chungi Road stays busy with people going to work. We see the bank employees coming and going all day. Sometimes we have a bit of a clutter problem with the crates, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve lived in Rajpur our whole lives, so we know everyone around here. It’s a quiet enough existence. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We just make sure the equipment is working. Sometimes the delivery van struggles to find a parking spot out front. That’s just life on a busy road. We do our bits and pieces and keep the lights on. It’s hard work but it feels right. We keep things simple and honest.
