Outbound Adventure

Outbound Adventure is located right on the main Nh 58 in the Tapowan area of Rishikesh. We are tucked in near the Hotel Narayana Palace, which is a big landmark around here. Working on the highway means we see a lot of travelers passing through every single day. It gets dusty and loud with all the buses and bikes, but we like being where the action is. We started this because we liked being outdoors ourselves. Our office is a simple place where we keep our gear and talk to people about what they want to do in the water or the hills. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Usually, you’ll find some of us sitting outside if the weather is nice. We spend most of our time checking ropes, rafts, or just planning out the next day’s route. Tapowan has changed a lot over the years, becoming so busy, but we stayed put on this stretch of the road. We don't have a huge staff, just a few local guys who know the river and the trails. If someone walks in, we just tell them how it is, which paths are muddy or how the water looks today. It’s practical work. We don't use fancy brochures much. People just find us by the road and we go from there. It’s a decent life, being near the mountains. We are just a regular shop doing our thing near the bridge.
