New Durga Travel

Our place, New Durga Travel, is over at number 16 in the Panditwari area. We are situated right opposite the FRI Gate, which is a big landmark for anyone in Dehradun. It's nice being near the Central Bank of India because people use it to find us. The office isn't big, but it serves the purpose. We spend most of the morning checking the vehicles and making sure the drivers are ready to go. Being near the Forest Research Institute means we see a lot of people coming through for visits or work. The area is a bit quieter than the main center, which is a relief. We deal with all sorts of travel requests, mostly just getting people from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually drink a cup of tea while it's still hot. We have been in Panditwari long enough to know the local rhythms. It gets busy during the tourist season, and that’s when we’re really on our toes. Managing cars and schedules takes up the whole day. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us here making sure the work gets done. If you are looking for us, just head toward the FRI Gate and look across the street. We’re usually around from early morning until late evening, just keeping the wheels turning for the folks who need a ride.
