Madan Package Tours

We’ve been here in Karanpur for quite some time now, just a short walk away from the Laxmi Narayan Mandir. It’s a busy part of Dehradun, and you can usually hear the temple bells from our front door if the traffic isn't too loud. Our office at 49A isn't anything fancy, just a room with a few chairs and a lot of papers piled up on the desks. We spend most of our mornings checking the schedules and making sure the drivers are ready to go. Madan Package Tours started because we knew the roads around here well. It’s mostly just us sitting here, answering the phone and trying to figure out the routes for people who want to see the hills. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we have to do things the old way with a pen and a notebook. The walls have a few old calendars and a map that's starting to peel at the corners. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask about the weather up in Mussoorie. We keep a big jug of water for anyone who comes in thirsty from the heat. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we do. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just the one near the entrance so people don't get lost looking for us. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends when everyone wants to leave the city for a few days.
