Maa Gayatri Travel House

Maa Gayatri Travel House is situated right by the Rto Office in Haripur Kalan, Dehradun. We are quite close to Shantikunj, which is a big landmark around here. Working in this part of Dehradun is interesting because we see a lot of people coming through for various reasons. Our setup is pretty basic. We have some desks and chairs where we sit and talk to customers about where they want to go. Being near the Rto Office means there is always a lot of movement outside. We started this because we knew the area well and wanted to help with travel arrangements. It is not a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a regular room where we keep our files and computers. We do a lot of car bookings and local sightseeing trips for people visiting the shrines or just looking to see the hills. Haripur Kalan has its own pace, and we fit right into that. I spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers or checking the roads. Some days are slow and we just sit and chat, other days the phone won't stop ringing. We don't use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned lists and a few reliable contacts.
