Karpion

Karpion is based at Shop Number B4 in the Government Industrial Area of Patel Nagar. It’s right in the heart of the industrial part of Dehradun City. Our shop is surrounded by other small factories and workshops. It’s a very practical environment. We do technical work and repairs. Inside the shop, it’s mostly metal shelves, heavy tools, and various bits of machinery. It’s not a clean or quiet place. There is usually a bit of oil on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. We don't really have a front desk or a waiting area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job. We work with our hands all day. It’s a small team and we’ve known each other for a long time. Dehradun’s industrial area is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is starting their shifts. We get a lot of local businesses bringing us things to fix or fabricate. We don't do any big advertising. People just know where we are. It gets quite hot in the shop during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s honest work and it fills our days. We don't have any fancy titles or corporate rules. We just do the work that needs doing.
