Jain Bus Service

We run Jain Bus Service out of Laxmi Plaza on Gandhi Road. Our office is quite close to the Aggarwal Dharamshala, which is a well-known spot in this part of Dehradun. We’ve been involved in the bus business for a long time. It’s a lot of coordinating schedules and talking to passengers. We don't have a corporate office with leather chairs. It’s a practical workspace where we keep our logs and take bookings. Gandhi Road is always full of life, and we’re right in the middle of it. We started this because we knew a lot about transport and wanted to run our own thing. It isn't always easy. Buses can be delayed and traffic in the city can be a mess, especially near the plaza. We just deal with things as they come. We aren't looking to be the biggest bus company in India. We just want to keep our local routes running and help people get to their destinations. You’ll usually find one of us sitting at the desk, either on the phone or talking to a driver. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we like it. The office is a bit small, but it serves its purpose. We know many of our regular passengers by name. It’s just a normal, local business. If you need to find us, just look for Laxmi Plaza. We’re there every day. It’s a simple life, keeping the buses moving across the district.
