Himalayan Heights

Himalayan Heights is located out on Neelkanth Road in a place called Rattapani. If you are driving away from Rishikesh, you just keep going past the Phoolchatti Ashram for about one and a half kilometers and you will find us. It’s quite a beautiful drive, but the road can be a bit bumpy and narrow in some parts. Being out here means we are surrounded by a lot of trees and you can hear the river nearby. It is much more peaceful than being in the middle of the city. We don't have a lot of neighbors, just the hills and a few other small places along the road. The office is very simple, almost like a small cabin. We spend a lot of time outside because the view is so much better than looking at a computer screen. People usually find us when they are heading up towards the Neelkanth temple or looking for a place to stay away from the crowds. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing our sign as they drive by. It’s a quiet life out here in Rattapani. We handle travel stuff and help people figure out the local trails. It's just a small operation run by local folks who like the mountains. Sometimes the monkeys come around and cause a bit of trouble, but that's just life on the road to Neelkanth. It's fine and we just keep going.
