Go Yatra

Go Yatra is based on the Main Road in Dhalwala, which is a bit of a different vibe than being right down by the river. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and buses passing through Rishikesh. We have a small shop here where we handle travel bookings and help people plan their trips. It’s nothing too special to look at, just some chairs and a desk covered in papers. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and we knew how to get people from point A to point B. Most of our work involves sorting out transport or helping people find a place to stay that fits what they need. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't want. If the bus is going to be late, we tell them it's going to be late. That’s just how we do things. Dhalwala is a good spot because we are right on the path for anyone heading further into the state. We get a lot of people stopping by who are just starting their journey. We drink a lot of tea and talk to a lot of drivers every day. It’s a simple life and we keep the business moving one day at a time. We don't have a big website or anything, just our name on the wall outside.
